Williams & Fudge Hosts its 19th Annual Bike Race for the Kids in Rock Hill
December 14, 2023, Rock Hill, S.C. – The nineteenth edition of the Annual Bike Race for the Kids was held today by Williams & Fudge. The event, which is a traditional festive charity drive, saw community partners come together to race each other on bikes. These bikes will later be gifted as part of the Toys for Happiness initiative.
An Unforgettable Day of Fun and Generosity
Today’s event was not just about the thrill of the race, but also about spreading the spirit of philanthropy. This year, Williams & Fudge collected an impressive total of 360 bikes, all of which will find new homes with deserving children through the Toys for Happiness drive. However, before these bikes make their way to their new homes, the organizers decided to create an opportunity for the local community to share in the fun.
In a thrilling finale, the community member who nabbed the win this year was a local team from WRHI. CN2’s very own, Lucas McFadden, also participated energetically in the event.
Charity at the Heart of the Event
While the event was certainly filled with fun and laughter, the organizers were keen to remind everyone about the purpose behind the festivities. Promoting the spirit of giving during the holiday season, every bike collected at the event will be donated to Toys for Happiness, a charity drive that provides presents for families and children in need.
This year, Toys for Happiness received requests from more than 550 families for presents for their children. This highlights the significant need in Rock Hill, and initiatives such as the Annual Bike Race for the Kids can make a huge difference during the holiday season.

Held since 2004, the Annual Bike Race for the Kids has grown significantly over the years, and this year’s event was the biggest yet. While fun was definitely on the menu, at the core, it was the spirit of giving that was the driving force behind this event.
