FORT MILL, S.C. – In an event marked by laughter, tears of joy, and a shared sense of pride, Caryn Scroggs – an assistant principal at Gold Hill Middle School here in Fort Mill, was named the ‘2024 South Carolina Middle Level Assistant Principal of the Year.’ The honor was bestowed upon her by the South Carolina Association of School Administrators (SCASA).
According to the SCASA, Scroggs rose above an exceptional group of administrator candidates to clinch the title. The rigorous selection process involved a seasoned panel of judges who evaluated each candidate based on their efforts in fostering an enriching and supportive learning environment.
Following the announcement, Richard Eppes, Principal of Gold Hill Middle School, showered praises on Mrs. Scroggs, highlighting how her dedication and leadership have been instrumental in crafting a supportive community within the school.
