De Pere High School Golf Regionals Recap
De Pere witnessed exciting competition at the regional golf meet, with Bay Port coming out on top to win the team title. Bay Port recorded a team score of 359, advancing them to the sectional championships. De Pere placed a close second with a score of 361, while Green Bay Preble Co-op followed in third with 393. Notre Dame rounded out the top four teams with a score of 408 to also qualify for sectionals. This strong showing reflects the high level of talent in the area.
Highlighted by a three-way tie for individual medalist honors, all shooting an impressive 86, were Payton Dudra from Bay Port, Lucy Kim from De Pere, and Emma Cunningham from Green Bay Preble Co-op. This tie signifies a competitive spirit among the young golfers. Additional individual qualifiers for the sectionals include Talia Schlindwein from Wausau East/West, Ella Szekeress from D.C. Everest, Anika Creisher from Wausau East/West, and Grace Melzer from Pulaski.
