Exciting High School Football Action in Southeast Texas

Friday night was filled with thrilling high school football games across Southeast Texas, as teams battled it out on the gridiron. Fans gathered to support their local squads, and the atmosphere was electric.

In Port Arthur, Port Arthur Memorial dominated West Brook with a convincing score of 42-14. The Memorial team showed impressive skills, proving their strength on both offense and defense.

Barbers Hill made a statement by scoring a whopping 69 points against Beaumont United, who managed to put 24 points on the board. The game was a showcase of high-flying plays and outstanding athleticism.

In a closely contested matchup, Nederland fell just short against Lake Creek, ending with a score of 43-45. This was one of the nail-biting games of the night.

Port Neches-Groves secured a solid victory, shutting out West Fork with a score of 37-0, showcasing their defensive prowess.

Other significant scores included Vidor defeating Lumberton by 34-7 and Little Cypress-Mauriceville taking down Liberty with a score of 38-7.

Silsbee also had a commanding win against Tarkington with a score of 44-3. Meanwhile, Huffman-Hargrave outscored Hardin-Jefferson 70-41.

The night was not without its surprises; Hamshire-Fannett outperformed Jasper 42-20, and Bridge City edged out Livingston 32-20.

In other finals, West Orange-Stark dominated Shepherd 62-16, and Orangefield triumphed over Kirbyville 49-14. East Chambers put up a strong performance against Coldspring-Oakhurst, winning 47-18.

The victories continued with Anahuac besting Buna 21-0, Newton defeating Kountze 46-7, and WoodvilleAnderson-Shiro 48-27.

Lastly, Deweyville scored a strong win over Evadale with a final of 35-3, and West Hardin triumphed against Sabine Pass 43-14.

As the season progresses, teams are gearing up for the playoffs, making each game crucial. With strong performances from various teams, the excitement for high school football in Southeast Texas continues to grow.
