This past Saturday, Houston saw an action-packed day of high school football with several teams showcasing their talents on the field. The games were filled with excitement and both thrilling victories and tough losses.

Aldine Eisenhower put on a strong performance, defeating Aldine with a score of 14-0. Meanwhile, Cypress Bridgeland dominated Cypress Ranch, finishing with an impressive score of 41-3. In another close battle, Cypress Falls edged out Cypress Fairbanks with a score of 45-37.

Over at Houston Heights High School, the team celebrated a resounding victory over Houston MSTC with a final score of 58-6. Houston Lamar also enjoyed success, taking down Houston Bellaire 42-14.

In the area of Klein, Klein Cain emerged victorious against Tomball with a score of 27-12. From San Antonio, Northside Brandeis exhibited a commanding performance against SA Roosevelt, winning with a score of 51-7. Northside Marshall also displayed skill and teamwork, beating Northside Holmes 37-27.

Crosby demonstrated their strength as they defeated New Caney Porter 49-26, while Fort Bend Kempner triumphantly topped Pasadena 48-21. In a nail-biter, Iowa Colony narrowly defeated Rosenberg Terry 37-36. On the other hand, Mercedes cruised to a comfortable win over Brownsville Porter with a score of 56-13.

In Fort Worth, it was FW Southwest who came out on top against FW Western Hills, winning 35-14. Houston Furr bested Houston North Forest with a score of 35-15, and Houston Kashmere easily handled Houston Scarborough 38-6. Worthing recorded a solid shutout victory over Houston Wheatley, closing the game at 31-0.

In perhaps the biggest blowout of the night, Yates displayed dominance against Houston Washington, winning by a staggering 45-0. The Austin Royals also had a strong showing, defeating Fort Bend Chargers 39-23.

In other notable games, Harvest Christian Academy-Lantana crushed Melissa CHANT 52-0, and Houston Emery/Weiner School triumphed over Houston Westbury Christian 76-48. The game between Fort Bend Crawford and Stafford was postponed.

Football season is still underway in Houston, and with each game, fans and players alike are eagerly looking forward to more intense matchups in the weeks to come!
