Nichols Store, in Rock Hill, South Carolina, began as a modest rural store offering gas, groceries, and a limited supply of fishing gear in 1968. Tommy “Papa Tom” Nichols owned and operated the store from 1968 to 1989, when it was purchased by Tommy’s son, Darren.
Darren Nichols, who has been in business for 30 years, has merged his experiences and passion for the outdoors by putting his vision into reality and opening an outdoor retail store for the entire family.
