FESTIVALS

St. Patrick's Day Festival

Every year, York County comes alive for a fun-for-the-whole-family St. Patrick’s Day Festival! Several festivals across the country feature food and artisan exhibitors, amusement rides, live bands, a dog show, local talent, and more. There is no admission charge.

Fort Mill—Fort Mill hosts two annual St. Patrick’s Day festivities, giving you double the enjoyment! The Main Street Shamrock Jam, featuring a DJ, green beer, a leprechaun costume contest, and kid’s activities, will take place on Fort Mill’s Main Street. You may also explore over 100 merchants and live entertainment at Baxter Village’s annual Spring Festival & St. Patrick’s Day parade.

Old Town’s St. Patrick’s Day on Main Street Festival, which has been going on for over 15 years, features live music, beer, and cuisine from multiple food trucks! There’s also a play zone with activities and entertainment where kids can have fun, so there’s something for everyone!
Clover is a two-day yearly festival with a Friday kick-off event featuring live music, street food, and a beer garden! If that wasn’t enough, there’ll be a 5k run, a dog show, and more live music at Clover’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival downtown on Saturday!

While there may not be an official St. Patrick’s Day event in downtown York, several establishments offer traditional Irish meals, green attire for you and your dogs, and fun home decor!
