Former NFL Stars Antonio Brown and Le'Veon Bell Show Support for Trump at Campaign Rally

Latrobe, Pennsylvania – Former NFL stars Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell made headlines over the weekend as they attended a campaign rally for former President Donald Trump. The event took place on Saturday at the Arnold Palmer Regional Airport, drawing a crowd eager to hear from the Republican presidential nominee.

During the rally, Bell shared his excitement about being called on stage by Trump. He expressed how remarkable the experience was for him, noting, “I had fought, I had played in big football games – playoff, regular season, Super Bowls – I’ve never had a feeling I had two days ago at that rally when I was behind that mic in front of America.” Bell was clearly taken by surprise when Trump invited him to speak, stating, “Not only did he call me on stage, shook my hand, talked to me a little bit… he like literally looked me right in my face and just backed up (and said), ‘You got anything to say? Say it.’”

Bell admitted he was “nervous” and had not expected such an opportunity. His admiration for Trump came through as he emphasized, “Basically, what I’m trying to say is Trump a real one bro.” He explained that not only was the experience special, but it was also unexpected. “That’s why y’all don’t understand is that Trump is a real one,” he stated.

After the rally, the two former teammates headed to a game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New York Jets. Bell shared that the ride from the airport to the stadium took about eight minutes, and he was thrilled to experience the game with Trump. He described it as surreal, indicating that it was a big deal for someone from his background.

Trump further engaged the fans at the game by leading a “U-S-A” chant, continuing to energize his supporters. The presence of Brown and Bell at both the rally and the game highlights the ongoing connection between sports and politics, especially as the 2024 election approaches.
