As part of the exciting pre-event activities, we were treated to a cooking demo from Matt Barry, the pitmaster and executive chef of Midwood Smokehouse. Displaying his expertise and flair for food, he shared insights on his approach to crafting some of the city’s best smoked concoctions. We were also introduced to Andarrio Johnson, the much-loved owner and chef at Cuzzo’s Cuisine, who shared stories about his journey on unfolding the magic of Charlotte’s food scene.
