Armed Robbery at PNC Bank

A suspected bank robber was taken into police custody following an armed robbery incident at the PNC Bank in Rock Hill. According to police reports, the incident took place around 6 p.m. on Monday, when officers were dispatched to respond to an armed robbery on the 1800 block of India Hook Road. The suspect reportedly brandished a firearm before fleeing the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

Officials state that officers near the Millwood Shopping Center spotted a man on a bicycle who fitted the description of the suspect. In an attempt to stop the man, officers noted that he was indeed armed with a handgun.
