Rock Hill, S.C. – After splitting a two-game series at home with Appalachian State, the Winthrop baseball team is gearing up for an inter-region rivalry matchup with the Charlotte 49ers. The Eagles will travel just 45 minutes up the road to Charlotte, N.C. for the exciting game.

Series History versus Charlotte:

The upcoming game will mark the 45^th meeting between Winthrop and Charlotte. The 49ers currently lead the series 24-19-1. Last season, the two teams met twice, with each team securing a victory. This season’s second matchup is scheduled for Apr. 23 in Rock Hill.
