As autumn approaches, Carowinds, the renowned amusement park based out of Charlotte, N.C., has revealed a surprising twist in its lineup of events for the upcoming season. As part of this year’s assortment, two brand-new family-oriented occasions, aptly named ‘Tricks and Treats’ and ‘Oktoberfest’, have been announced. The park also confirmed the comeback of their annual Halloween event, the much-anticipated ‘SCarowinds’.
The excitement doesn’t end there though; for the first time since their inaugural year in 2000, all three autumn-themed experiences will be accessible under a single admission ticket, eliminating the need for separate passes.
Let’s delve into the specifics. ‘Tricks and Treats’ is scheduled to entertain visitors on Saturdays and Sundays from September 14 to October 27, welcoming guests from 12 in the noon till 6 in the evening. This event offers an array of family-friendly fun activities and live entertainment, which include mask craft stations, trick-or-treating, live shows, and even a pumpkin patch. The list continues with fall-themed foods and beverages, and to wrap up the fun-filled day, a vibrant parade.
‘Oktoberfest’, another offering in the amusement park’s fall event lineup, will transport visitors to Germany without them having to leave North Carolina. This delightful event will be staged on Saturdays and Sundays, starting September 14 and running through November 2, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Visitors can look forward to a palate-pleasing array of German foods and a fine selection of beers, all set to the tune of lively music and a host of family-friendly entertainment. The lineup of attractions includes yard games and a brat-eating competition, amongst other fun activities.
In addition to the newly launched events, the much-awaited ‘SCarowinds’ makes a grand return. Known to provide an adrenaline-pumping experience, this frightful fest will mark its presence on select evenings from September 13 to October 27. It will feature a quartet of scare zones, exhilarating live shows, and winding mazes to keep you on your toes. What’s more, the park’s beloved thrilling rides undergo a spooky transformation, providing thrill-seekers with an even more exciting experience under the darkened skies.
Admission to this grand autumn celebration at Carowinds begins at $49.99. For more detailed information and ticket purchases, please visit the official Carowinds website.
