Celebrating the arrival of the autumn season, Carowinds, the popular amusement park, has unveiled an entertaining and terror-filled lineup. Introducing two brand new family-friendly events, ‘Tricks and Treats’ and ‘Oktoberfest’, while also promising the return of the much-anticipated park’s ‘SCarowinds’ Halloween event. This year promises to be even more thrilling as visitors will not require separate tickets for these events. All the themed attractions will now be included in a single admission pass.
Starting Sept. 14 and running through Oct. 27, Tricks and Treats will operate on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m. The event features a festive environment that includes everything from mask crafting stations to trick-or-treating and a pumpkin patch. Apart from regular attractions, guests can indulge themselves with a selection of fall-themed foods and beverages, all while enjoying a festive parade.
Similarly, Oktoberfest celebrations will commence from Sept. 14, taking place every Saturday and Sunday until Nov. 2, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Reflecting the heart of Germany, visitors can partake in a diverse selection of delectable German food, enjoy various beers, along with music and live entertainment. The celebration will also feature yard games, a brat-eating contest, and several other engaging activities.
Carowinds’ flagship Halloween event, SCarowinds, is all set for a grand return on select nights from Sept. 13 through Oct. 27. Packed with fright and excitement, the event features four scare zones, four spooky live shows, and five unique mazes. Additionally, park’s well-known thrill rides will illuminate the dark ambiance, adding to the thrilling experiences one can enjoy after sunset. The ticket prices for SCarowinds start at $49.99.
Carowinds’ promise of a thrilling season comes as the Cedar Fair and Six Flags announced their merger to form a robust amusement park operator expanding across 17 U.S. states and three countries. The combined value of the new entity exceeds $3.5 billion, featuring 27 amusement parks, 15 water parks, and nine resort properties spread across U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
With Carowinds’ new fall-themed events and the return of SCarowinds, visitors can expect a season filled with fun, fright, and wholesome entertainment. The park’s decision to include all events within a single admission pass is certainly an added bonus, ensuring no visitor misses out on any of the experiences. As the combined result of the latest merger amplifies the amusement offerings, it’s safe to expect even more exciting unveilings in the near future. Just remember to secure your pass and embark with your closest ones on an unforgettable amusement journey.
