CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Carowinds amusement park has announced a new, fall lineup intended to be both “fun and frightful”. This year, the park will be introducing two new family-friendly events, namely ‘Tricks and Treats’ and ‘Oktoberfest’. In a highly-anticipated announcement, the park has also confirmed the return of ‘SCarowinds’, their iconic Halloween event.
For the first time since its debut in 2000, visitors will not need to purchase a separate ticket to enjoy these experiences. All three themed events will now be available under a single admission ticket. This move is expected to make the events accessible to more visitors.
‘Tricks and Treats’ will run every Saturday and Sunday from Sept. 14 to Oct. 27, operating from noon to 6 p.m. Designed to be family-friendly, the event will boast live entertainment such as mask craft stations, a pumpkin patch, trick-or-treat routes, and more. In addition, the park will feature fall-themed foods and drinks, plus a lively parade.
Simultaneously, guests can experience a slice of Germany with the park’s ‘Oktoberfest’ celebration. This event will also occur on Saturdays and Sundays, beginning on Sept. 14 and extending until Nov. 2, with festivities running from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Visitors can enjoy authentic German food, a plethora of beers, music, and family-friendly entertainment, including yard games and a brat-eating contest.
The much-anticipated ‘SCarowinds’ is set to take place on select nights from Sept. 13 through Oct. 27. This event will feature scare zones, spooky live shows, and five immersive mazes. Furthermore, when night falls, the park’s beloved thrill rides will undergo a chilling transformation, adding to the overall spooky atmosphere.
Ticket prices for these events will start at $49.99. For further information regarding these events and everything else Carowinds has to offer this fall, visitors can access detailed information on the official Carowinds website.
With a flurry of activities and events designed for all ages, Carowinds’ exciting fall lineup is set to make it a hot spot for both locals and tourists. Whether you’re looking for family-friendly fall fun or thrills and chills, Carowinds has something for everyone this season.
