The much beloved Carowinds amusement park unveiled an exciting line-up of new fall-themed events together with the eagerly awaited return of the popular SCarowinds Halloween event.
In a new twist this year, park officials announced the debut of two brand new family-friendly experiences, aptly named ‘Tricks and Treats’ and ‘Oktoberfest’. It was also declared that these upcoming attractions, along with the returning favorite, SCarowinds, would no longer require visitors to purchase separate tickets. This translates to all three themed events being included in one single admission ticket.
“Tricks and Treats” are scheduled to take place on Saturdays and Sundays from Sept. 14 to Oct. 27. With operating hours starting from noon until 6 p.m., this day event promises an unforgettable experience with live entertainment, mask craft stations, trick-or-treating, a pumpkin patch, and more.
Carowinds will also straddle the line between spooky and festive with the introduction of fall-themed foods and drinks paired with a delightful parade.
Joining “Tricks and Treats” is Oktoberfest, running on Saturdays and Sundays from Sept. 14 to Nov. 2 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Visitors can expect to enjoy a taste of Germany with delectable German food and a wide variety of beers. Oktoberfest will also see upbeat music and family-friendly entertainment, yard games, and even a brat-eating contest.
Adding to the excitement is the much-anticipated return of the beloved Halloween event — SCarowinds. Taking place on select nights from Sept. 13 to Oct. 27, this thrilling event will feature four scare zones, four spooky live shows, and five mazes.
The park’s iconic thrill rides will also take on a new life when darkness descends, turning the park into a thrilling playground. Ticket prices start at only $49.99 and proves to be quite the steal with this fun and frightful trio of events.
