Eighteen cars were reportedly broken into at Atrium Health Main’s parking deck in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 3:15 a.m. on Saturday morning, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police reports. Two unknown suspects were said to be responsible for breaking into several vehicles, with a total of 19 victims listed.
Items Stolen and Atrium Health’s Response
Purses, computer hardware, sunglasses, cash, and tablets were among the items reported stolen from the vehicles. A statement released by Atrium Health expressed disappointment in the actions of the perpetrators, emphasizing the vulnerability of patients, visitors, and healthcare workers.
