The boys’ basketball team from Chaska took on Shakopee, emerging victorious with a score of 67 to 62. It was a close game that saw both teams fighting hard for every point. Meanwhile, the girls’ team also had a successful outing, defeating Shakopee with a score of 65 to 49.
On the gymnastics front, Wayzata girls impressively scored 137.45 at their latest meet against Minnetonka, which totaled 128.875. Centiannial took the lead in a competitive meet against Champlin Park, scoring 121.025 to 110.975.
The boys’ hockey team from Park of Cottage Grove dominated the ice with a victory over Hastings, finishing the game 9 to 1. In the girls’ league, Blaine narrowly beat Osseo/Park Center with a close score of 2 to 1, while Benilde-St. Margaret’s put on an impressive performance, shutting out Farmington with a score of 7 to 0.
In wrestling, the matchup between Washington and Como Park ended with Washington claiming victory at 42 to 33.
