Chester County, known for its diverse array of recreational activities, is gearing up to unveil its green spaces and outdoor delights in a grand fashion with its first-ever Tourism Fair. The county, popular among adventure enthusiasts for its offerings that range from skydiving to embarking on whitewater rapids, holds countless opportunities for local community members and visitors to enjoy.
The primary organizer and booster of this endeavor, the County’s Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Department, has designed the upcoming Tourism Fair as a platform to showcase the county’s vibrant mix of happenings. The end goal? To entice community members at large as well as tourists to explore and experience the great outdoors right in the heart of Chester County.
Slated to happen on the first day of February at the renowned Gateway Conference Center in Richburg, the Fair is set to host 36 vendors from 2 PM till 7 PM. In addition to a representation of the distinctive local attractions, the fair will feature enticing food stalls, various prizes, and even more fun events.
Britt Stoudemire, the Director of Parks, Rec, and Tourism, is enthusiastic about the event and the potential it holds for community engagement and promotion of Chester County’s natural treasures. In a recent sit-down conversation, Stoudemire revealed exciting details of the event and encouraged the community and tourists alike to come down to the Gateway Conference Center and participate in what promises to be a remarkable event.
Moving forward, the Tourism Fair aims to further solidify Chester County’s position as a preferred outdoor and recreational spot for locals and visitors alike. As the county’s first such venture, the Fair is also an opportunity for participating vendors and the Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Department to discern the effectiveness of such events to promote local attractions and discern possible enhancements for future fairs.
If you’re in the Chester County area or plan to visit on February 1st and have a penchant for outdoor activities, the Chester County Tourism Fair is an event not to be missed. Come, join the fun-filled event, and experience the great outdoors in a whole new perspective.
