“We’ve seen a really large increase in individuals and households coming to us for assistance,” expressed Hurst. Between 2022 and 2023, Hurst revealed a striking 62% surge in the number of children served by the non-profit organization. This sharp rise in demand was attributed to the vanishing Covid-19 benefits and fluctuations in the economy.

This upcoming provision is geared towards serving even more families and incorporating additional services. “That’s what our goal is, to get you over that hurdle,” Hurst stated.
