College Golf Season Kicks Off: Top Teams and Players Revealed in Preseason Rankings

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Virginia – As the new college golf season begins, Golf Channel’s Brentley Romine has shared his preseason rankings for both teams and individual players. This annual update serves as a guide to the top college golf programs in the nation, highlighting the best players, their projected lineups, and notable newcomers in the sport.

This year, the top spot goes to Stanford University, who recently claimed their third NCAA team title. The Cardinal will be looking to fill the shoes of some key players, including Rachel Heck and Sadie Englemann, but they appear well-equipped with a standout recruiting class.
