LINCOLN, NE – Week 1 of college volleyball launched with thrilling matchups and surprising results, leading to a shake-up in the rankings. The Nebraska Cornhuskers have surged into the top spot, cementing their place with a clean 3-0 record, including a standout win over Kentucky. Their performance showcased impressive defense and strong production from players like Bekka Allick and Andi Jackson.
Following closely behind at No. 2 is the Louisville Cardinals, who also had a noteworthy week. They displayed a well-coordinated offense and exceptional teamwork in a four-set victory against Wisconsin, alongside a clean sweep of Tennessee.
