DE PERE – The Papermakers put on a strong performance as they took down the Redbirds with a final score of 62-49. Kimberly showcased their depth with four players scoring in double figures. Leading the charge was Raegan Krueger, who scored an impressive 18 points. Following closely was Emily Urban with 14 points. Both Haylie Dulas and Ava Van Vonderen contributed 11 points each to ensure a well-rounded offensive effort.

On the other side, De Pere’s top scorers were Egan Bierowski and Aubree Fischer, each scoring 11 points but it wasn’t enough to keep up with Kimberly’s high-scoring run. The first half saw Kimberly leading 30-23 at halftime and they maintained their advantage into the second half, outscoring De Pere by 10 points.

Kimberly shot 12-17 from the free-throw line and had a total of 16 fouls during the game. For De Pere, their foul count was slightly lower at 12, with their free-throw shooting at 9-16.

In other basketball action, West De Pere overcame a halftime deficit to defeat Appleton North with a score of 63-46. Madisyn Berggren led the Phantoms with 17 points, while Appleton North’s Avery Werfal made significant contributions with 20 points.

In Neenah, the Rockets fell to the Warhawks, despite Rowan Klesmit’s 26-point effort, while Waupaca achieved a victory against the Vikings, led by Haley Bechard’s standout performance scoring 17 points.
