Exciting Championship Saturday in High School Football

Pittsburgh, PA – The high school football playoffs brought plenty of excitement to Acrisure Stadium this Saturday, November 23, 2024, with thrilling championship matchups across various classifications in the WPIAL. In the Class 5A Championship, Pine-Richland emerged victorious over Peters Township with a score of 20-9. Pine-Richland showcased their talent and determination, sealing a commanding performance on the field.

Looking ahead, the Semifinals are set for November 29-30, featuring teams like Downingtown West (13-1) against St. Joseph’s Prep (9-2) and Central Catholic (11-2) taking on Harrisburg (11-2).
