Half of this first building has been leased to the renowned Metrolina Eye Associates. They are currently fitting out their space, and there’s a lot to look forward to as the eye surgery center is expected to open its doors later this year. NFM Properties is not stopping at just one building. They have ambitious plans for two additional medical office buildings, sized at 30,000 square feet and 15,000 square feet, respectively. These will be developed once the first building is fully leased, making room for more healthcare providers in this burgeoning corridor. The versatility of the project allows for various medical users needing spaces anywhere from 2,000 to 30,000 square feet.

Speaking to the potential of the area, the developer expressed their belief that this corridor serves as a natural extension of the well-liked Ballantyne area. This ambitious project includes a shopping component, with a whopping $150 million investment, featuring popular retail stores such as Target. Furthermore, last year’s rezoning approval for the Exchange at Indian Land has laid the groundwork for a new Costco store and additional retail space, making it a sought-after destination for both shopping and living.
