However, there will be no football games involving Arlington teams on Friday night, November 1. This is due to the observance of a no-play date for Fairfax County schools in honor of the Diwali Hindu festival.
Instead, fans can look forward to a full day of football on Saturday, November 2, as Arlington schools take on Fairfax teams. The football matches include:

In field hockey, teams will compete in the 6D North Region semifinals. Matchups include Washington-Liberty at Oakton and Madison at Yorktown, both kicking off at 7 p.m. Also, the Washington-Liberty ice hockey team will face off against West Springfield at the Prince William Ice Center at 9:15 p.m.
Cross-country enthusiasts can catch the 6D North Region championship meet on Saturday at Burke Lake Park, starting at 2 p.m., where Washington-Liberty and Yorktown will compete in both girls and boys categories. Furthermore, O’Connell will participate in the private school state meet at Panorama Farms near Charlottesville, set for 10 a.m. on the same day.
