FNA America Sets Up Headquarters in Fort Mill, Eyeing ‘Aggressive’ Expansion
Charlotte, July 3, 2024 – FNA America Inc, a prominent manufacturing enterprise, has recently announced its grand expansion plans following the acquisition of a local industrial building at the cost of $10 million. The company has acquired a facility in Fort Mill and is positioning itself for significant growth.
As part of these impressive plans, the air compressor manufacturer, a subsidiary of Italy-based FNA Group, will double its workforce in York County by the end of the year, according to Attila Madarasz, the company’s president. The 102,000-square-foot building located at 419 York Southern Road will become FNA’s North American headquarters.
Expanding Operations
FNA has primarily concentrated on the U.S. consumer product segment and will now notably enhance its professional and industrial product segments. The company is also expanding its licensee agreement with Stanley Black & Decker Inc, which will involve more than just manufacturing.
Along with manufacturing, FNA America will now stock, manage, and offer DeWalt and Bostitch air compressor products.
In the words of Madarasz, “Adding on this additional scope of responsibility for FNA America requires a lot more people, a lot more infrastructure, and a lot more space.” The company already moved its existing warehouses and manufacturing operations into the Fort Mill facility and plans to introduce more production lines. This hiring drive will extend into 2025.
Quick Actions for Future Assurances
FNA America acted swiftly to set up operations at its new site. The company moved its warehousing and production line within approximately two weeks of closing the property sale.
By the end of the year, FNA America’s new office space will be ready for its leadership team. Until then, its existing office space at 454 Anderson Road in Rock Hill will be utilized.
Innovating and Expanding with the changing Time
FNA’s sister company, the FNA Group, has global production operations in France, Italy, and China. The Fort Mill location will also serve as FNA America’s East Coast warehouse. The company has other warehouses in the Dallas, Los Angeles, and Montreal regions.
To better align with the corporate team in Turin, Italy, FNA America recently rebranded itself from Fini USA Corp. This change will bring more investment in assets and employees to replicate FNA’s larger-scale production operations.
Attila Madarasz remarked in his concluding statement, “We’re very ambitious and are going to be very aggressive,” reaffirming the company’s commitment to its expansion plans.
