Leading the charge for Fort Mill was none other than Wallace Campbell, who poured in an impressive 21 points. His teammates rallied around him, with Nas Berry adding another 10 points to the scoreboard. With this victory under their belt, Fort Mill is set to take on Spartanburg in the championship semifinals on Friday. Despite coming into the game with a slow start due to a lengthy layoff since December 13, the players found their rhythm as the game progressed. Junior guard Michael Jones stole the show with a dazzling performance, scoring an impressive 32 points to lead his team. Sequel Patterson contributed significantly as well, dropping in 14 points. Lakeside’s Ty Jones put up a solid fight with his own 30 points, but it just wasn’t enough to overcome Indian Land’s momentum.
Meanwhile, the South Pointe girls’ basketball team has also been showcasing their skills this holiday season. Kicking off the Chesterfield Christmas Tournament, South Pointe absolutely crushed Forest Hills with an astonishing score of 83-47.
