The scoring opened when Reed Rhodes recovered a fumble in the end zone, with the Lions securing their second touchdown thanks to an interception from Stephen Dickey, leading to a score. Kevin Powell made a significant play, returning one of his interceptions for a 36-yard touchdown in the second quarter.

Another notable game was between Metrolina Christian and North Raleigh. Metrolina secured a solid victory, finishing with a score of 27-7. Key performances included two rushing touchdowns each from Alex Germano and Jeremy Williams, while DeAngelo Walker stood out defensively with eight tackles and an interception.
