In a strong showing, Chardon faced off against Orlando Timber Creek from Florida, winning decisively with a final score of 29-7. Meanwhile, Walsh Jesuit managed a thrilling victory over Youngstown Ursuline, finishing with a score of 37-35 in a close contest.

Austintown Fitch demonstrated their dominance with a commanding 49-12 victory against Euclid. Other high-scoring games included Wadsworth, who blanked Barberton 42-0 and Nordonia beating Bedford 41-6.

In another exciting match, Padua triumphed over Alliance with a score of 34-6. Benedictine also showcased their prowess, winning against Canton South 43-7.
