High School Football Action Heats Up in Wisconsin

As the NFL season captures nationwide attention, high school football in Wisconsin is also bringing excitement. Week 3 of the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association saw conference play kick off, with several local teams showcasing their strengths on the field.

Starting in the Southeast Conference, the Sabers hit the road to secure a win against Racine Case, finalizing the game at a score of 27-14. They will look to keep the momentum going as they prepare to face Racine Park this Friday.

In the Classic 8 Conference, the Warriors had a tough match against Pewaukee, managing to score only 7 points while allowing 21 points from the Pirates. The Warriors hope to bounce back as they gear up to play Mukwonago on Friday.

Cedarburg is having a standout season, marking their first 3-0 start since 2010 with a victory of 35-21 against West Bend West. Their next challenge is against Nicolet this Friday.

In a close game, the Owls edged out Hartford with a score of 31-26, holding on for the win despite a late rally. They will be looking to build on this success against West Bend West.

The Badgers had a remarkable bounce-back performance, demolishing Union Grove with a score of 41-6. They will hope to continue this winning streak against Waterford this Friday.

Meanwhile, Oconomowoc shut out Kettle Moraine with a strong 30-0 victory, asserting themselves as a powerful contender. They are set to face Waukesha West next.

In another dominant performance, the Black Hawks defeated Whitnall with an impressive score of 49-7. They will travel to Wisconsin Lutheran this Friday, looking to keep their winning ways alive.

Bringing a dramatic finish, Arrowhead clinched a tight win against Mukwonago with a two-point conversion in the final seconds, wrapping up at 29-28. They will be heading to Muskego next.

The Lasers, unfortunately, faced a challenging match this week as they fell to Oconomowoc 30-0 for their second consecutive shutout. They will play West Allis Hale this Friday.

Lastly, the Chargers had a robust win against Waukesha West, cruising to a 40-9 victory on the road. They are gearing up for a matchup against Brookfield Central this coming Friday.
