Minneapolis – In a thrilling week of high school football across Minnesota, several matchups showcased the determination and talent of young athletes from various schools. The action-packed games did not disappoint the fans, with schools from different conferences battling for bragging rights.
In the MCAA conference, Legacy Christian dominated PACT with a commanding score of 79-41, while Becker edged out St. Francis, finishing with 92-77. Big Lake triumphed over North Branch with a score of 71-58. In one of the nail-biters of the week, Cambridge-Isanti narrowly beat Princeton, securing a 73-69 victory.
Moving to the Suburban East conference, Cretin-Derham Hall showcased their skills by defeating Irondale with a score of 98-70. East Ridge also faced a tough challenge but managed to secure a 72-70 win over Mounds View. Stillwater had a strong performance against Park of Cottage Grove, winning with a score of 74-64.
In the Tri-Metro conference, DeLaSalle proved their strength with an 87-59 victory over St. Anthony. Holy Angels had a remarkable showing, defeating Columbia Heights 101-72.
The Wright County conference saw Rockford overcoming New London-Spicer with a convincing score of 73-56. Meanwhile, Albany secured a solid victory against Annandale, finishing 73-58.
Over in the Metropolitan Area games, apple Valley delivered a strong performance, beating Minneapolis North 73-59. Prior Lake’s team fought hard against Chaska and came out with a close win 66-62.
