The big game today features McDonald (6-3) squaring off against Mineral Ridge (4-5) for the 80th time. These two teams have a long history, dating back to their first match in 1927. McDonald leads this storied rivalry with a record of 53 wins, 22 losses, and 4 ties. The Blue Devils and Rams will meet for the 64th consecutive year, making this the longest active rivalry in Trumbull County.

This weekend will also see Niles (1-8) taking on Girard (5-4) for the 81st time. This rivalry is rich with tradition, starting all the way back in 1898.
