High School Football Roundup: November 1 Action

This past Friday, in Baltimore, high school football produced some thrilling matchups as teams wrapped up their regular seasons. Here’s a look at some of the standout performances from November 1.

The Arundel Wildcats showcased their dominance by defeating the Annapolis Panthers with a score of 43-6. Star player TJ Mordecai rushed for three touchdowns, racking up 110 yards. Quarterback Ahmir Lowery also had an impressive night, throwing for 113 yards and two touchdowns while leading all rushers. Brandon Feinblatt contributed with a 31-yard field goal, securing the Wildcats an 8-1 record for the season.

In another close battle, the Old Mill Patriots edged out the Meade Mustangs in a tight game that ended 32-27. Tahzay Brown was a key player, gathering 120 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Quarterback Trey Martini threw for 269 yards and connected with his teammates for four touchdowns throughout the game.

The Southern Bulldogs managed a narrow victory against the Chesapeake Cougars, winning 28-23. Touchdowns from Brett Apperson and Isaiah Crampton helped keep the Bulldogs in the game, along with key rushing touchdowns from Sam Young and LJ Evans.

Broadneck made a significant mark in their contest against Severn Run, winning comfortably with a score of 56-0. Ian Mauldin54.

Finally, in a nail-biter, South Carroll secured a victory against Francis Scott Key with a final score of 10-7. The game’s highlight was Anthony Rodrigues throwing a 75-yard touchdown pass to Landon Hamper on the very first play.
