Minneapolis, MN – The Minnesota high school football state semifinals showcased some thrilling action as teams battled for a spot in the finals. The games were held at the impressive U.S. Bank Stadium, where fans were treated to an incredible display of talent.
In the Class 6A semifinals, the Minnetonka Skippers put on a dominant performance against Anoka, winning the game with a score of 48-27. Leading the charge for Minnetonka was quarterback Caleb Francois, who was simply unstoppable, rushing for an impressive 283 yards and scoring five touchdowns. Despite a strong effort from Anoka’s quarterback, Peyton Podany, who passed for three touchdowns, it wasn’t enough to keep up with Francois and the Skippers.
In the Class 4A semifinals, Becker took on Marshall and secured a solid victory with a score of 28-7. Becker’s win further cements their status as a formidable team in the tournament.
The 9-man semifinals provided even more excitement as Fertile-Beltrami soared past LeRoy-Ostrander with a stunning 60-33 victory. Hills-Beaver Creek also had a nail-biting game, edging out Mountain Iron-Buhl with a close 26-20 win.
As schools across Minnesota continue to compete for glory, fans can look forward to more thrilling games in the upcoming finals. Football enthusiasts will no doubt be talking about these standout performances for weeks to come.
