In Arlington, Bowie’s standout player showed tremendous skill by racking up 244 rushing yards and scoring four touchdowns during a convincing 49-21 win against Lamar. This incredible performance has put Bowie on the map and showcased their capabilities.
Meanwhile, in Watson Chapel, Brasfield was the defensive star, picking off three passes, two of which were returned for touchdowns, leading his team to a stunning 41-0 shutout against the competition. Not only that, but he also caught a touchdown pass, proving he can be a threat on both sides of the ball.
Over in Valencia, Bretthauer displayed his impressive passing skills, completing 14 of 19 passes for an incredible 374 yards and three touchdowns, helping his team earn a dominant 35-0 victory over West Ranch.
Another impressive performance came from Cannon, who despite only completing 7 of 9 passes for 80 yards, took to the ground, running for 168 yards and scoring five touchdowns in a 35-12 win against Oakcrest. Cannon has now totaled 36 touchdowns this season, showcasing his dual-threat ability.
In the battle of rivals in Bend, Chambers threw 22 of 27 for 324 yards and five touchdowns, leading his team to a solid 42-7 victory. On the ground, Jackson showed off his all-around skill set by compiling 342 all-purpose yards and scoring six total touchdowns to propel his team to a 52-28 win over Iowa City.
