Exciting High School Football Matchups Set for This Weekend in Springfield and Beyond

Springfield, Illinois – High school football fans are in for a treat this weekend as several exciting games are set to take place across the region.

On Friday night, Chatham Glenwood will face Normal U-High at 7 p.m. in what promises to be a thrilling matchup. Meanwhile, Decatur Eisenhower heads to Rochester, also at 7 p.m., looking to secure a win. Fans in Lincoln can catch Decatur MacArthur taking on Lincoln at the same time. Jacksonville will host Springfield High at Memorial Stadium, starting at 7 p.m., which is expected to draw a large crowd.

In other games, Lanphier travels to Quincy Notre Dame at 7 p.m. and Auburn will visit Petersburg PORTA. Other notable games include Maroa-Forsyth facing Pittsfield, and New Berlin taking on Stanford Olympia, both scheduled for the same time. Pleasant Plains has declared a forfeit against Riverton.
