South Carolina Marriott Transforms into Hilton Beachfront Resort & Spa

Resort Gets a New Lease of Life

The distinguished Marriott Hilton Head Resort & Spa on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, has recently undergone a significant transformation. The beloved resort has announced its renaming to Hilton Beachfront Resort & Spa Hilton Head Island, marking it as the solitary Hilton-branded full-service resort within a 200-mile radius of Hilton Head island.

An Upshot of Recent Renovations

This rebranding follows closely on the heels of a comprehensive renovation project that breathed fresh life into the property. The multimillion-dollar facelift performed on the resort’s 513 guestrooms and suites including the Presidential Suite and four Vice Presidential Suites, contributed to the increase in the resort’s allure. Additionally, upgrades were made to the resort’s public spaces, food service outlets, and meeting areas—creating an even more welcoming environment for guests and patrons.

“Our guests, who had booked their stay or meeting with us ahead of March 1st, have experienced a seamless transition,” stated General Manager Asvil Correia. “The response to the change has been positive and guests are looking forward to future renovations.”

Long-standing Staff Maintain High Standards

Correia also highlighted the ongoing commitment to excellent customer service provided by the resort’s staff, many of whom have worked at the resort for decades. They continue to meet and exceed guest expectations, irrespective of the changes.

Luxe Location

Owned and managed by Columbia Sussex, the Hilton Beachfront Resort & Spa Hilton Head Island is perfectly positioned in the residential community of Palmetto Dunes. This idyllic location offers guests easy access to stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean, unspoiled beaches, and a range of recreational activities, including world-class golf and tennis facilities.

A New Chapter

With the rebranding, the former Marriott Hilton Head Resort & Spa begins a new chapter as the Hilton Beachfront Resort & Spa Hilton Head Island. The transition illustrates Hilton’s continued growth and solidifies its position as one of the leading global hospitality companies. At the same time, it also signifies a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences at this newly refurbished resort.

The resort is expected to continue to contribute to the local economy, create employment opportunities, and remain a vital aspect of the hospitality industry in the South Carolina region.

Looking to the Future

As the Hilton Beachfront Resort & Spa Hilton Head Island embarks on this new journey, patrons, guests, and the local community can look forward to a revitalized and refreshed destination—one that harmoniously blends the charm and warmth of the old with chic and sleek elements of the new.
