Moving to Class 5A, another shake-up has occurred with Merrillville taking over the top spot. They rose from No. 2 to No. 1 following a dominant 27-0 shutout against Andrean. Meanwhile, Decatur Central fell from the top position to No. 6 after a challenging loss with a final score of 41-15 to Columbus North.
