This past week, a variety of high school football matches took place across the region, showcasing some exciting action and impressive victories. In Bellevue, the home team dominated the field with a strong performance, defeating Gamble Montessori 46-0. This win illustrates Bellevue’s growing strength in this season.
On the volleyball courts, Badin took down Edgewood in a clean sweep, winning by set scores of 25-19, 25-12, and 25-18. Meanwhile, Kings overcame West Clermont with similarly confident scores, showing their prowess by winning 25-21, 25-16, and 25-22. Anderson didn’t hold back either, defeating Winton Woods soundly with scores of 25-11, 25-8, and 25-6.
In other notable volleyball matches, McNicholas won against Sycamore, comfortably taking the sets 25-9, 25-10, and 25-9. Hamilton kept their winning streak going with a close match against Western Brown, winning the sets 25-18, 25-19, and 27-25.
Outside of volleyball, several soccer teams played hard as well. Reading shut down Norwood with a commanding 6-0 victory, with Allen and Vance each scoring twice. Cincinnati Christian was equally impressive, scoring six goals without reply against Purcell Marian.
Overall, this week has been filled with thrilling matches and outstanding performances from various teams. It’s shaping up to be an exciting season, and fans are eager to see what the coming weeks will bring.
