He also snagged the Upper State title in the same event, clocking in at 10.55 seconds. On top of his performance in the 100 meters, Clark qualified for the state championships in the 200 meters too, with notable wind-aided times of 21.52 seconds and 21.63 seconds, and a wind-legal time of 21.79 seconds. These numbers definitely underscore his lightning-fast athleticism!
But let’s not forget his earlier years! In his sophomore season, Malik finished fifth in the state finals for the 100 meters with a time of 10.90 seconds, and seventh in the 200 meters, clocking 22.00 seconds. The numbers get even more impressive when we look at his freshman year, where he posted swift times of 11.13 seconds for the 100 meters and 22.36 seconds for the 200 meters. Clearly, this young man is a force to be reckoned with!
