Neenah Sweeps Fox Valley Association Cross Country Meet with Dominant Performances

Neenah Dominates at Fox Valley Association Cross Country Meet

KAUKAUNA – The Neenah boys’ cross country team showed incredible prowess at the Fox Valley Association conference meet held at Countryside Golf Course. The team clinched victory by taking the top six spots, finishing with a stunning score of 15. Kimberly followed in a distant second place with 55 points. Neenah’s Zach Verhagen led all competitors, clocking in with a time of 16:10.1, followed closely by teammate Braedy Klawikowski, who finished in 16:41.0.

The Neenah girls also shined, winning their conference title with a score of 26 points, placing three runners in the top five. Kimberly again took second with 78 points. Neenah’s Mazie Olkowski sped to victory in the girls’ race with a time of 18:29.8, just edging out Eva Busch of Appleton North, who finished in 18:30.0.

The team scores for the girls included: Neenah 26, Kimberly 78, Appleton North 111, Kaukauna 122, and Appleton West 129, among others. In the boys’ competition, the scores were: Neenah 15, Kimberly 55, Appleton North 130, and Kaukauna 145

  • 3. Carson Verhagen NEE 16:44.7

For the girls’ top finishers:

  • 1. Mazie Olkowski NEE 18:29.8
  • 2. Eva Busch AN 18:30.0
  • 3. Elsa Gruber NEE 18:32.1
  • 4. Hannah Huza H 18:39.5
  • 5. Natalie Schultz NEE 18:45.1

As teams look ahead to future meets, both Neenah squads are certainly riding a wave of momentum after their impressive performances.
