Rock Hill, South Carolina, is gearing up for the exciting addition of a new trampoline park. The Warren Norman Company has officially announced that Big Air will be setting up shop at the Galleria Mall, promising a variety of attractions for visitors.
The upcoming trampoline park will occupy 30,000 square feet of space, featuring a wealth of activities for all ages. Guests can anticipate a ninja course, climbing walls, zipline, dodgeball courts, and even a mechanical bull. Additionally, there will be designated areas specifically for children aged six and younger, ensuring a safe and fun environment for younger visitors. The park will also include a café and several party rooms, making it an ideal venue for celebrations and gatherings.
This new Big Air location will be operated by Rock Hill natives Ashley and John Colwell, who are adding this facility to their existing Big Air in Lexington. Ashley Colwell expressed excitement about the venture, stating, “Our roots are here in Rock Hill.” The Colwells’ involvement signifies a commitment to their hometown and its entertainment offerings.
The trampoline park will be located at 2295 Dave Lyle Blvd, within the Galleria Mall, which is anchored by well-known retailers such as Belk, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and Ashley Furniture. The mall also features attractions like a bowling alley from Stars and Strikes, making it a central hub for family-friendly activities in the area.
Construction and design of the new trampoline park are expected to be completed by the third quarter of next year. The project is anticipated to create approximately 100 jobs for local residents, further boosting the economy as the park becomes an attractive destination for both locals and visitors.
The addition of the trampoline park is part of a broader initiative to enhance entertainment options at the Galleria Mall and attract more families to the area. The Warren Norman Company has a history of involvement with the Galleria, as they were originally engaged in the land development for the mall decades ago and took ownership of it five years ago. With the establishment of Big Air, the company aims to provide a new, dynamic experience for shopping mall visitors.
Overall, the opening of Big Air at Rock Hill’s Galleria Mall represents a significant investment in the community’s entertainment landscape, combining active fun with family engagement. As the third quarter of next year approaches, anticipation builds for what promises to be a thrilling new destination for all ages.
