In the Chagrin Valley Conference, Hawken delivered an outstanding performance against Orange, winning decisively with a score of 50-13. Meanwhile, Lutheran West edged out West Geauga in a closely contested match that ended 23-20. In another matchup, Kirtland dominated Chagrin Falls with a commanding score of 49-0.
The Cleveland West Conference saw Buckeye dominate Normandy with an impressive 59-13 victory. Strongsville made a significant mark on the Greater Cleveland Conference, defeating Shaker Heights by a staggering 50-0. Cleveland Heights also showcased their strength, taking down Medina with a whopping 44-0 victory.
In the Suburban League, Copley secured a 48-27 win over Barberton, while Highland kept the momentum going with a dominant 41-0 win against Revere. North Royalton managed a narrow victory of 21-14 against Twinsburg.
Fans were treated to a fierce battle in the Western Reserve Conference, where Chardon came away with a 31-7 win against Mayfield. The action didn’t stop there, as Kenston defeated Riverside with a score of 31-14 as well.
In the Akron City Series, Ellet blanked North with a 28-0 score, while Buchtel narrowly edged out Garfield 12-6.
