Peters Township, PA – As the high school football season gets into full swing, the 2024 Pennsylvania high school football landscape is shaking up. With the season kicking off earlier than normal this year, many teams have already played two games before the calendar hits September. The pleasant weather is an added bonus for players and fans alike, with temperatures comfortably dipping into the 50s overnight.

The latest twist in this year’s season comes from the Trib HSSN state rankings. A wave of change saw six teams drop out of the rankings across different classifications, clearing the way for six new teams to make their debut.
