Columbia, MO – Excitement is in the air as several *Rock Bridge* student athletes have announced where they will be continuing their sports careers after graduating high school. With a mix of basketball, volleyball, and softball, these talented players are making impressive moves to the next level.
One standout of the group is girl’s basketball star Mari Miller, who announced she will be taking her talents to the University of Alabama-Birmingham. Despite suffering an injury that will keep her out of her senior season, Miller is optimistic about her future. “I’m going to take confidence into UAB,” she shared. “I think the staff, the players, everyone has so much confidence in me. My confidence has grown as a person because of them.” Miller holds several single-season and career records for the Bruins in just three seasons, showcasing her exceptional talent.
Miller’s teammate, Eli Porter, also made headlines as she committed to continue her basketball journey at Wofford. With guidance from Coach Nagel, she feels prepared to elevate her game to a collegiate level. “What I’ve learned from my time at Rock Bridge will help me succeed,” Porter stated, showing gratitude for her coaches and the program.
In addition to basketball, volleyball’s Ava Renner will be heading to Kansas Wesleyan University, while teammate Caylee Collins will venture up North to Madison College in Wisconsin. These athletes are excited about their future opportunities in volleyball.
On the softball front, superstars Bella Stephens and Addie Morris have also made their commitments known.
