The Winthrop University baseball team has announced a schedule change for their upcoming game against The Citadel. The contest, originally scheduled for Wednesday, Apr. 10 at 6 p.m., has been moved up one hour to 5 p.m. The game will take place at Winthrop Ballpark in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Winthrop baseball is set to play consecutive mid-week contests, with a game scheduled for Tuesday night followed by the rescheduled game against The Citadel on Wednesday at the updated time of 5 p.m. Fans are encouraged to come out and support the Eagles as they continue their season.
In their most recent series, the Eagles faced off against USC Upstate, dropping the series finale on Sunday afternoon. Despite a strong comeback effort in the ninth inning of the second game, Winthrop fell short to USC Upstate. The team will be looking to bounce back in their upcoming games.
