Ensuring a smooth transition into high school, the esteemed educational establishment, based in Rock Hill, SC, invites parents and rising ninth graders to the orientation on January 31 at 6 p.m.
The orientation stands to introduce budding students into the freshman Bearcat life. Providing an all-inclusive perspective on high school routines and protocols, attendees will learn about schedules, expectations, clubs, activities, and athletics. Moreover, this serves as a fantastic opportunity to meet the nurturing staff that will guide them through their freshman year.
Showcasing a strong commitment to offering equal educational and employment opportunities, Rock Hill Schools has laid out strict compliance to not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, disability, pregnancy, age, sex (including gender identity), sexual orientation, spousal affiliation, or any other protected trait or characteristic, as required by law. Listing the Title IX and its implementing regulations, 34 C.F.R. Part 106, Rock Hill Schools ensure that sex does not play a part in their educational programs and activities.
Furthermore, the District maintains a strict stance against sexual harassment within their premises. In accord with its policy, any inappropriate act of discrimination by an employee, student, or third party will not be tolerated. Immediate and impartial measures will be undertaken to rectify the effects of any discriminatory acts.

It invites everyone to join this informative event, paving a structured path for the students towards a successful freshman year, enforcing their core belief, “Once a Bearcat, Always a Bearcat.”
