Scarowinds unveils new changes: no separate ticket requirement and exciting new events

In an unprecedented move, Carowinds amusement park in Charlotte, N.C, announced that SCarowinds, the beloved Halloween event, will no longer require a separate ticket. This means that park guests will be able to enjoy the rides, family-friendly activities, iconic Oktoberfest, and the bone-chilling experiences SCarowinds has to offer with just a single admission ticket.

No More Separate Tickets!

For every park-goer who has wished to experience the notorious SCarowinds without having to purchase a separate ticket, their dreams have just come true. From September 14th, park guests can freely enjoy the thrill rides, the eerie spooky zones, and enticing seasonal food and beverages all under the cost of one ticket.

New Additions to Excite All

Further adding to the excitement, the amusement park unveiled the addition of new events this season. One of the highly-anticipated attractions is Lobotomy’s Oddities: Circus of Madness. Visitors can brace themselves for a real scare in this zone which features Bob Lobotomy, the twisted ringmaster, showcasing his collection of oddities and curiosities.

Another interesting addition is Wake the Dead: A Murder Mystery Musical. An interactive musical that will premiere at the Carowinds Theater, where guests will have the opportunity to dictate who is the guilty party, providing different endings for each performance.

Tricks and Treats: A Treat for the Entire Family

Running every weekend from September 14 to October 27, between noon and 6 p.m., Tricks and Treats is an event perfect for family outings. The line-up includes a variety of Halloween-themed activities, live entertainment, a Tricks and Treat Parade, and a selection of fall-inspired food and drinks.

Oktoberfest Arrives at Carowinds

Known as Germany’s world-renowned festival, Oktoberfest is making its way to Carowinds, scheduled to run every Saturday and Sunday from September 14 to November 2, between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.

“In addition to our beloved Halloween event, we are introducing two new daytime experiences: Tricks and Treats and Oktoberfest,” said Manny Gonzalez, the vice-president, and general manager of Carowinds. “This exciting lineup ensures that guests can enjoy a full day of thrills, chills, and festive fun at Carowinds for the price of one ticket, making it the perfect destination for fall entertainment for both family and friends alike.”
