Seahawks Seek to Continue Winning Streak Against Patriots
Seahawks Seek to Continue Winning Streak Against Patriots
This Sunday, Seattle fans are gearing up as the Seattle Seahawks (1-0) head to Foxborough to take on the New England Patriots (1-0) in a highly anticipated matchup. After a solid victory against the Denver Broncos in their season opener, the Seahawks aim to start the season 2-0 under new head coach Mike Macdonald.
In their first game, the Seahawks managed to secure a win at home, but they will face a tougher challenge as they hit the road for the first time this season. The Patriots pulled off an unexpected upset against the Cincinnati Bengals, where their strong defense limited the Bengals to just 10 points. Moreover, running back Rhamondre Stevenson had a standout performance, rushing for over 100 yards and scoring a touchdown.
On paper, this matchup looks like it could be a low-scoring affair, with both teams having solid defensive lineups. Current betting lines list the Seahawks as 3.5-point favorites, while the over/under stands at 38.5 points.
This game marks a significant point in both franchises as it highlights the struggle of rookie head coaches. Mike Macdonald has taken over for longtime coach Pete Carroll, while Jerod Mayo rises through the ranks after being mentored by Bill Belichick.
As Seattle prepares to take on New England, there are injury concerns to note. Players George Fant and Tyrel Dodson did not practice on Wednesday due to injuries, and Uchenna Nwosu is recovering from an MCL sprain suffered during preseason games. Their status leading up to the game will be watched closely.
The Seahawks-Patriots game kicks off at 10 AM PT and will be broadcasted live on FOX. Commentary will be provided by Kenny Albert, Jonathan Vilma, and sidelined coverage by Megan Olivi. Fans can look forward to this exciting game as Seattle aims to secure another win and maintain momentum in the season.
As always, enjoy the game and remember to play it safe with bets!
