Exciting High School Football Matchups Highlight Southwest Florida’s Third Week of FHSAA Calendar

As we dive into the third week of the FHSAA calendar, exciting matchups are in store for Southwest Florida high school football fans. One game, in particular, is drawing significant attention this week. The Venice High School, ranked No. 5 in the USA Today Florida Network Super 25 poll and a top 10 team in Class 7A, will be visiting Bishop Verot, currently sitting as the No. 2 team in Class 2A. This highly anticipated game takes place at Matthews Drive and is the highlight of the weekend.

However, this isn’t the only excitement on tap. A number of local rivalries are set to unfold, showcasing some intense competition. Notable matchups include Fort Myers traveling to Cypress Lake, Immokalee facing off against Naples, and North Fort Myers going up against Mariner. In total, there are 21 games scheduled this week that promise plenty of action.
